Da Monthly “Ducktape Vol. 20” by Duckworld808 x Duckworld Chicago

Breaking in the new year there are a lot of things to be thankful for and a lot of things to consider in 2026. We been working hard on a few different projects. Some audio gear, some soulful sample packs and tuned drum kits. Also been making a few new connections in the beat community. I think we got something special for you. Some tasty “flavor in your ear” it goes a little something like this… “Chop cheese and, Kennedy fried and, dollar Arizona’s and, four wings with fried rice and extra duck-sauce… All of the reasons you was out front for, come up with us if we up and gone…” One of the lines from one of my favorite emcees, Skyzoo. Word, for all you beat makers and music producers out there, we got some extra “Duck Sauce” for you in this episode.
Duckworld808 and Duckworld Chicago present Da Monthly Ducktape Vol. 20, the latest chapter in the Ducktape series curated by Damon Flores and hosted & supported by B4Lasers & Duckgirl808. Rooted in Chicago & LA’s instrumental hip hop culture and connected to a growing global network, Duckworld808 continues to provide a platform for producers to share, collaborate, and evolve. This isn’t just another beat tape — it’s an evolution. A pulse that connects beatmakers across continents through the language of rhythm. From Chicago to the Netherlands, Vol. 20 bridges cultures while pushing instrumental hip-hop into new, uncharted dimensions.
Volume 20 showcases a wide range of sound, from dusty boom bap and soulful chops to lo fi and experimental textures. Featuring over 50 tracks from producers across Chicago, the Netherlands, and beyond, the tape highlights individual creativity while maintaining a cohesive, intentional listening experience. More than a compilation, Da Monthly Ducktape Vol. 20 reflects Duckworld808’s commitment to community, culture, and global connection. It captures the energy of a movement built on collaboration and respect for the craft.
Hosted by B4Lasers, this project embodies everything Duckworld808 stands for — community, creativity, and global collaboration. Curated by the incomparable Damon Flores, with drums straight from the Netherlands also crafted by the man himself — this latest volume is a monumental showcase of rhythm, texture, and sonic craftsmanship. Vol. 20 captures the raw spirit of Duckworld808: 50+ submissions deep, this collection transcends borders, weaving together dusty boom-bap drums, soulful chops, and futuristic lo-fi grooves. Each track stands as a reflection of producer excellence — heartfelt, gritty, and unapologetically original.
