Place your pre-order for this Akai Custom MPC-2000XL workstation by Big Noise. This dream machine is upgraded with one of the best card readers on the market. Hot swap SD Card Reader for enhanced workflow. The MPC is upgraded with 32MB of internal memory and Akai IB-M208P 8 output / digital I/O board and Akai EB16 effects board. Both playback, record and 8 out audio path caps upgraded the best audiophile capacitors available at the time of upgrade. The unit is wrapped in a durable black vinyl skin. Bezel is hand crafted from 1/4″ Gold Phenolic and hardwood, wrist-rest with aluminum trim, finished in Tru-Oil gun oil. The unit is upgraded with the MPC Stuff v.2 blue LCD Screen, Pad Sensors (only if original sensors are replaced), and black Fat Pads. MPC upgraded with extra large grey rubber feet, custom black buttons, knobs and slider. The jog / data wheel is upgraded with a custom billet aluminum wheel by Big Noise. These units are also equipped with a proprietary damping system under the pad actuators to reduce physical vibration and enhance tactile performance. The AC input; primary, secondary and DC output have been upgraded with Ferrite Clamp RF noise filters. Equipped with a Hot Swap SD card reader and complete Big Noise MPC Drum Sample Library including 7 Mute Group Program for sample playback.
The Modular MPC was designed in 2019. We can add custom embellishments to the panels. Custom MPC 2000XL bezel kits are now available for pre-order on the Big Noise MPC website. The Modular MPC’s are designed to be sleek and low profile… The beautiful Walnut hardwood and laser cut billet aluminum components are laminated with high-tech structural adhesives, hand assembled and polished to a shiny luster. These Bezel kits are fabricated to 100’s of an inch tolerances. Bezel kits come in a wide variety of materials such as Gold Phenolic (a canvas / linen compost), plastic, wood and metal. Customers can mix and match materials. This is a robust mechanical design made to last the lifetime of the MPC.
We can add custom laser engraving to the hardwood wrist-rest. The MPC 2000XL is a classic workstation, perfect for entry level and professional music production. A studio quality sampler / sequencer you can use to make amazing tracks just like the pros!
