The v2.0 Audio Transformer designs offer enclosed transformers for better electrical shielding. The units are all hand wired with twisted pair and point-to-point connections. The desk design provides more options for ratio, bypass, attenuation, termination, ground lift and other functional buttons and switches. XLR connectors, special functions and/or switches can be added per request.

This essential passive Audio Magic Blue Nev-5554 brings depth, color, detail, improved sonic image, spacial separation, harmonics, volume boost and glue to your audio mix. Low-frequency phase shift enhances bass frequencies. Dual switches on the front panel allow you to select 1:1 or 1:2 operation. Low through mid frequencies are enhanced in an amazing way when audio is passed through a step-up transformer. These are the same British manufactured transformers used to service Neve equipment, and are partly responsible for that classic Neve sound. Dubbed the Audio Magic Blue Nev-5554, this piece of gear will add buttery smooth character and enhanced low end to your audio recordings and mixes. We chose the Neve Red transformers for this design because of it’s legendary sonic coloring. It exhibits wide bandwidth, common mode rejection ratio (CMRR), and distortion characteristics from 20Hz to 22kHz.
