Roland MV-8800 / 8000 wood panel upgrade kit. Roland MV-8800 NOT included. This week I’d like to bring your attention to our first creation for the Roland MV-8800 / 8000 production studio sampler. These custom Acacia wood panels provide vintage elegance and robust durability to your classic MV-8800 or MV-8000 sampler workstation. The inset on the side of the panels delivers 1970’s synthesizer styling to the desktop Roland sampler.

These custom Acacia wood panels are Hand rubbed with three coats of custom Danish wood oil, a special blend for a unique color. One coat of Johnson’s Paste Wax. The finish penetrates deep into the wood for decades of studio use. The billet aluminum hardware and socket-head screws finish off the look with retro-mechanical swag. I’ve been engaged in woodworking since I was around 15 years old, winning national competitions. Whatever classic sampler or workstation you got stashed away, pull it out and dust it off… Akai MPC’s, Roland Drum Machines, Isla Instruments S2400, E-MU Systems, NI Maschine… Let’s work!
