These custom leather and wood panels provide vintage elegance and robust durability to your Akai MPC-X sampler workstation. The leather lining on the side of the panels delivers classic recording studio styling to the desktop Akai pro sampler. This leather / wood panel kit fastens to the MPC X directly with the supplied hardware – no funny looking metal brackets under your Akai workstation, like you see on low quality wood panel kits.

These custom Akai Pro MPC X leather and wood panels are hand rubbed with three coats of custom Danish wood oil, a special blend for a unique color. One coat of Johnson’s Paste Wax. The finish penetrates deep into the wood for decades of studio use. The billet aluminum hardware and socket-head screws finish off the look with retro-mechanical swag. I’ve been engaged in woodworking since I was around 15 years old, winning national competitions.
