Akai MPC “Tin Chassis Screws” | Replace Stripped Or Missing Screws (5x)

Replace stripped, old or missing chassis screws on your Akai MPC Drum Machine. Allot of the MPC units that we refurbish, repair or upgrade for clients are missing some of the the chassis screws, or the screws are stripped and out of shape.

It’s very important that all your chassis screws are installed and properly tightened to get the full EMI performance from your MPC chassis. This ensures a resistance to Radio Frequency signals in the air generated from Studio Equipment, Wi-Fi, Cellular Phones and Public / Private RF communications. These signals can actually creep into your unit and degrade it’s performance or sound quality. These “Black” screws typically go on the back of the MPC and under the front plastic bezel.
