What year was Big Noise MPC established – Is Big Noise Audio the same company?
Big Noise MPC was established in 2009. Music Production Cafe was deployed to provide an outlet for the first custom Akai MPC 2000XL drum machines. Handmade 3/4 inch hardwood panels in purple heart, African lacewood and bamboo – coated in Danish wood oil and floor wax. We also supplied Akai MPC parts, CF / SD multi card readers and storage accessories. In 2019 Noiseman designed the “Modular MPC 2000XL” made from aluminum, wood and composites… A sleek low profile upgrade kit with unique front bezel and side panels.
From 2020 to 2026 Big Noise expanded it’s “Product” offerings to include 500 series studio modules, passive summing mixers from DIYRE, studio equipment and analog audio transformers. The Audio Magic series of audio transformers – embraced by our clients, soon became the industry standard. In 2026 we updated the brand name to Big Noise Audio – encompassing our focus on audio gear for studio engineers, music producers and beat makers. Today we’re talking with producers like Young Guru, defining what’s next for audio engineering.
