Boyz II Men Play Vegas Residency Terry Fator Theatre At The Mirage Hotel & Casino

Celebrated R&B trio, Boyz II Men have been traveling to Las Vegas to undertake an extensive residency at Las Vegas’ renowned Mirage Casino. The residency will conclude their recent world tour, which saw them play dates in all four corners of the globe including a sold out show in Manila. The residency, which started last March 13, will be at the quaint Terry Fator Theatre at the Mirage Hotel & Casino. The dates were first announced on the Boyz II Men official website. Having just recently celebrated 21 years of being a group, it seems fitting that they play a host of dates at the Mirage to celebrate such a successful career.

Having won 4 Grammys along the way, and being heralded as the biggest selling R&B group of all time, it will mark a landmark 12 months where they have completed one of their biggest world tours to date. It also shows how popular and relevant the trio are to this day. The dates at the Mirage will take place from March 13 until December 27 with the trio playing a total of 56 shows in total. It marks a big shift in focus for the Mirage as they look to put regular live music on at the Terry Fator Theatre.

During the last 20 years, the Mirage has suffered from spiralling losses due mainly to online gambling’s increase in market share. And although online wagering is now prohibited in most states in America, it still drastically affects the profits of casinos like the Mirage. Many gamblers now refrain from making trips to casinos to splurge large amounts of money and instead play online because it is more practical and cost-effective. From these portals they are able to bet on a multitude of different things and enjoy a host of themed games. For example, celebrated games like Jackpot Giant and varied sports betting have become a vital revenue source to the online giant Betfair. And ultimately it’s this varied array of betting options that’s still detrimental to land-based casino’s revenue streams.

Thus, this caused the Mirage to raise their game when it came to entertainment, and for visitors of Vegas this was music to their ears. The Mirage has recently stated that they are looking to put more established acts on in the coming months as well as having regular residencies showcased at the Terry Fator Theatre.

In the coming months, the Terry Fator will have a slew of interesting acts performing. Check out the Mirage’s official Facebook Page for more information.
